The Capital Works Program has been developed to meet anticipated community infrastructure needs and the future development of the Town to align with the strategic plan, driven by population growth, requirements of the community and asset management. These works include footpath replacement, traffic management treatments and road re-sheeting works among other minor capital works.

Victoria Avenue - footpath renewal
The Town would like to advise that a footpath renewal project will be taking place on Victoria Avenue commencing Tuesday 24 September. Please see the below letter distributed to affected residents.
Evelyn Road -footpath renewal
The Town would like to advise that a footpath renewal project will be taking place on Evelyn Road commencing Monday 16 September. Please see the below letter distributed to affected residents.
Vaucluse Avenue footpath renewal
The Town would like to advise a footpath renewal project will be taking place on Vaucluse Avenue. Due to potential conflict with Royal Show traffic the
project has now been been rescheduled to start on Monday 14" October 2024. Please see the below letter distributed to residents.
Langsford Street footpath reconstruction
The Town would like to advise that footpath renewals will be taking place along Langsford Street. More information can be found in the below letter.
Ashton Avenue paved footpath repairs
The Town would like to inform residents that the Maintenance Department will be undertaking repairs to the paved footpath on Ashton Avenue as per the location below between Monday 2 to Friday 6 September 2024. Works will be confined to the hours of 7.00am to 4.00pm, subject to weather conditions and contractor availability. Further information can be found in the below letter distributed to residents.
Franklin Street road resurfacing
The Town would like to advise that road resurfacing will be taking place on Franklin Street - Claremont Crescent to Shenton Road commencing Monday 26 August. Please see the below letter and information sheet distributed to residents.
Shenton Road Drainage
The Town would like to advise of drainage works commencing Monday 12 August 2024. Please see the letter below distributed to affected residents.

Water Corporation- Sewer Investigatory works
The Town has been advised of early investigation works related to plans to reline the Claremont main sewer.
These works will be taking place along Narla Road, Shenton Place, Shenton Road and Stirling Road between Wednesday 31 July and Friday 23 August.

Rochdale Road rehabilitation
The Town has been advised by the City of Nedlands with regards to an update on the completion date for the rehabilitation works on Rochdale Road.
