Workshop Hire

The workshop space at the Bay View Community Centre is suitable for:

• Meetings 
• Workshops and Conferences
• Fitness classes 
• Community groups 

Please note, the space is not available to hire for parties or celebrations. 

This hall is not staffed outside of normal office hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) and the Town's employees will not be available to attend the hall outside of these hours, except in an emergency. A call-out fee will be charged with the situated is not a genuine emergency decided by the Town.

General rules

• Invoices must be paid prior to the booking
• Please ensure the time to set up and pack down is included in your booking
• The hall must be left clean and tidy with all rubbish removed and tables and chairs packed away 
• The use of smoke machines is not permitted
• Noise levels must not be heard outside the facility boundary 
• Any tables and chairs used must be put away 
• An additional cleaning fee may be charged if the facility isn't left clean and tidy 
• Costs to fix any damages will be passed onto the hirer

Pricing 

Locals first rate: $35 per hour 

This rate is for local community members who are Town of Claremont residents or groups associated with the Town of Claremont area. 

Not for profit: $40 per hour 

For registered charities. 

Private hire: $70 per hour 

For all other booking types.
