‘Welcome To The Otherside’ event in the heart of Claremont

A partnership between the Town of Claremont, Claremont Quarter, Triple-1-Three and Crafted Events is set to bring an exciting new entertainment option to the Claremont Town Centre this summer. Welcome to the Otherside will be popping up in the Claremont Town Square from 27 January to 20 February. It will showcase the award-winning range of crafted beers from Otherside Brewing Co., as well as WA wines and assorted summer cocktails. Patrons will have access to a special concierge food service from restaurants at Claremont Quarter and be entertained by live music from a range of WA musicians and performers. The initiative is supported by the Town’s Night-Time Activation Grant program which was developed to increase vibrancy in the Town Centre during the evening.

Mayor Jock Barker said the event would provide a unique experience to residents and visitors. “There really isn’t anything like Welcome to The Otherside in Claremont at the moment. The Town Square has been completely transformed and we can’t wait for people to experience all it has to offer, as well as visit other Claremont businesses while they are in Town Centre. “It will be a special place for everyone – for those that love to socialise, families, and those who enjoy live music. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone into our Town Centre.”

Welcome to The Otherside will accommodate up to 200 patrons at any one time. The transformed site will feature a 20-tap container bar with a rooftop area, performance spaces for music and art, kids play are and social spaces.

Commenting on the initiative, Tripple-1-Three CEO Al Taylor said Otherside is a brand that is all about bringing people together to connect and connect with interesting experiences.

“Welcome to the Otherside is the mobile embodiment of that – an opportunity for locals to get together in a chilled space. After super popular stints in Subiaco and Cockburn, we are thrilled to be spreading the joy further and bringing Welcome to the Otherside to Claremont. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”

Welcome to The Otherside Claremont can be found at Claremont Town Square, Saint Quentin’s Avenue, from 27 January to 20 February, Wednesday to Sunday 12pm until late.
