
The Town of Claremont’s continued approach to planning and delivering improved road safety practices for our community has been recognised and commended during the WALGA Local Government Awards held on 19 July.
The Town of Claremont’s continued approach to planning and delivering improved road safety practices for our community has been recognised and commended during the WALGA Local Government Awards held on 19 July.
The Town was one of 75 RoadWise Councils acknowledged on the night for their commitment to road safety. The Town of Claremont is proud and excited to hold a 4 Ribbon status which demonstrates how our approach to road safety spans across the organisation.
“Earning this 4 Ribbon status reinforces that the work we are doing to create a safer road network and motivates us to continue to strive for excellence in all areas where we can influence road safety outcomes” Mayor Jock Barker said.
With ongoing support from WALGA’s team of road safety specialists, the Town of Claremont will continue to plan, implement, record and share local road safety actions which contribute to delivering a safer road and transport system for the use of our community.
