Spend Valentine's Day under the stars with WASO

This Valentine's Day be treated to music from the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) when A Night on Bay View returns to Claremont Park on Saturday 14 February. 

Marking the start of the Town's events calendar, concertgoers will be treated to famous musical scores from The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast and much more with the angelic voice of Australian soprano Lorina Gore featuring on the night. 

This marks the first appearance at A Night on Bay View for Lorina, and she couldn't be more excited. 

"This will be my first appearance at A Night on Bay View and I absolutely love outdoor events," Lorina said. 

"There's nothing quite like the atmosphere on a balmy night; the audience relaxing with food and drink, and the little ones running around and having fun," she added. 

With a range of musical styles on offer, there's a little bit of something for everyone. 

Mayor Peter Telford said "What better way to start the Town's calendar of community events than with the ever popular A Night on Bay View. The fact that it falls on Valentine's Day makes it the perfect date night with a loved on or a fun activity to do with friends while enjoying an evening of elegance, magic and unforgettable music." 

Picnicking begins from 6pm with the concert to start at 7pm. 

This is a free event which the entire community can enjoy.
