The Town of Claremont has extended the period nominations for from community members for a two year term expiring in October 2023 for the following Committees of Council:
Audit and Risk Management Committee | 2 Community Representatives |
Claremont Museum Advisory Committee | 5 Community Representatives |
Claremont Town Centre Advisory Committee | 5 Claremont Town Centre Business Representatives |
Foreshore Advisory Committee | 3 Community Representatives |
Lake Claremont Advisory Committee | 2 Community Representatives |
The role of a Committee Member is to attend meetings and participate in making recommendations to Council. These recommendations are used to assist Council Members to make informed decisions.
Committee Meetings are generally held on a quarterly basis at either 8.00am or 5.00pm on a weekday. To find out further information about the Town’s Committees please visit www.claremont.wa.gov.au/Council/Committee-and-Council-Meetings.
