Could you be joining Perth Symphony Orchestra on stage at Carols in the Park 2026?
The Town of Claremont is collaborating with Perth Symphony Orchestra to provide a young western suburbs resident with the chance to perform on stage with the orchestra during Carols in the Park.
Who can apply
- We are looking for a solo vocalist (no groups or bands) aged between 12-24 years
- Living or studying within the western suburbs:
- Town of Claremont
- Town of Cambridge
- Town of Cottesloe
- Town of Mosman Park
- City of Nedlands
- Shire of Peppermint Grove
- City of Subiaco
- Be available to perform at the live audition on Sunday 18 October 2026, dress rehearsal on Friday 4 December 2026 and Carols in the Park on Saturday 5 December 2026, plus some rehearsals beforehand
Key dates
Entries close: Friday 18 September
Live auditions: Sunday 18 October 2026 10am - 2pm at A Day on the Bay
Performance: Saturday 5 December 2026 5:30pm - 9pm at Carols in the Park
How to apply
- Record a video of yourself singing one (1) verse and one (1) chorus of your song of choice
- Fill out our online form here and submit your video
- If you're uploading your video to YouTube or Vimeo, please include the link
- If you're uploading the file directly, make sure it's formatted to mp4 and compressed to under 40MB
- Shortlisted performers will be invited to perform one song at A Day on the Bay on Sunday 18 October
- The winning performer will be invited to work with Perth Symphony Orchestra and perform live at Carols in the Park on Saturday 5 December
