Three generations of the Summerhayes family were architects of note for a combined 100 years in Western Australia. Come and learn about this distinguished family and their influence and legacy on buildings in Perth across the 20th century. Edwin, who arrived in WA in 1894 was responsible for the Claremont Council building, his son Reginald designed the Highway and Swanbourne Hotels; while grandson Geoffrey was renowned for his modernist houses. Geoffrey's daughter will join us to celebrate her father's extraordinary life.
