2 - 3 Shenton Road

The following projects are currently under construction at Shenton Road: 

The Terraces 

• The Terraces is a residential apartment development at 3 Shenton Road, Claremont, within the Claremont on the Park precinct. 
• Development approval for an eight-storey mixed-use development was granted by the State Administrative Tribunal in 2019. 
• The development includes 137 residential apartments and nine commercial/retail tenancies. 

Specialist Medical Centre 

• A specialist medical centre is under construction at 2 Shenton Road, Claremont. 
• The site is one of the final undeveloped lots within the Claremont on the Park project, located adjacent to Claremont Train Station. 
• The proposed development has an approximate floor area of 4900m².
• Proposed use include a day hospital, urgent care, pathology, pharmacy, dermatology services and other specialist consulting rooms. 
• The proposal also includes a public plaza connecting to the Goods Shed. 

Shenton Road closures 

• The main closure for The Terraces is as of 5 January 2026. 
• The Specialist Medical Centre has a lane closure as of 15 December 2025.
• The westbound left lane is closed at the intersection of Davies Road and Shenton Road for the purpose of constructing a new specialist medical centre. 
• This includes closure of the southern footpath, however, westbound traffic will still be operational. The straight through and right turn will be shared from the right lane.
